Gifted with a uniquely rich and resonant voice, Cora Rose has captivated audiences around the world. From tender and intimate to full and powerful, the spellbinding tone and vibrancy of Cora’s vocal performances have won her fans, young and old, throughout the United States. Cora grew up in rural Wisconsin where she began writing at a young age and recording in her mid-teens. After developing a strong following in her community, she moved to Nashville in 2005 where she crossed paths with such notable songwriters as Michael Peterson (“Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie”) and Jill King (“98.6 Degrees and Falling”).

In 2006 Cora moved to Maine to pursue studies at College of the Atlantic, and in the next four years she simultaneously earned her Bachelor’s degree and made significant strides with her music. While conducting academic research in Africa and Mexico, Cora began songwriting in Spanish as well as English.  While visiting NYC to serve as a delegate to the United Nations in 2009, she recorded “Roll With Me”, which was later used in a Ford National Ad Campaign and aired during the World Series. In 2011, she co-wrote and performed a song clip for NBC's Parks & Recreation, which aired under the guise of "Nefertiti's Fjord".  She has received mentorship from Grammy-nominated and former RCA artist, Marilyn Maye, and she has conducted songwriting workshops with schools around the country. She now lives in New York City.
